We happily celebrated Pastor Brian’s birthday this month. We wish him more of God’s blessings upon his life. We pray that he fulfills his God given purpose on this earth with so much favor. May God continue guiding him in everything he does.

Kwathu Home

We thank God for his faithfulness during the month of September. None of our children fell seriously ill. It is in this month that we collected their academic end of term test results. All the seventh grade children did extremely well in their mock exams. Obet was the highest in the provincial exams while Rozaria was the highest in the private schools category. We are so proud of their achievements and we are very confident that they will pass their final exams with flying colors. The rest of the children did well in their exams with only minimal improvements needed for their next exams.

Kwathu School

The beginning of the third academic term has been exciting for Kwathu Community School. The children were so happy to return back for classes after a 4 week holiday. The teachers are on top of their game preparing the children for the third and final grade term. We are open to anyone interested in sponsoring a child at Kwathu Community school. For only USD 10/ month for each child, you could make an academic difference in his / her life.

Volunteers

For three weeks, we enjoyed the company of Fabienne who came to visit us. This is her second visit to Kwathu Children’s Home and this gives us so much excitement. Welcome back to your African home Fabienne!!

Carina and Robin visited us from Germany. We had an amazing time with them. They helped out with cooking and washing dishes at the feeding program. They also spent time with the Kwathu children in recreational activities. We truly appreciate the time spent and thank them for coming.
