In early 2017, Kwathu Ministries began a tailoring workshop for women in Livingstone, Zambia. The program was initiated to help women in the surrounding community build their tailoring skills and grow entrepreneurship abilities for income generation. Our aim is to allow the women to work independently, enabling them to earn an income through tailoring, designing beautiful items for local shops.
We are still sourcing sewing machines to engage more women in the program. Consider donating today to benefit the tailoring initiative.
