Hi, my name is Linto! I want to be a chef when I grow up! Will you help sponsor my education?
Linto is a sharp 11 year old young man who loves to learn new things. At home, he is often found playing school with the other young ones and loves acting as both the teacher and the student. At any given opportunity, Linto will show you what he knows and what he is learning. He loves drawing and coloring, as well as playing football. He is inspired by the love and care that he receives at Kwathu Children’s Home.
Linto likes food so much that he is hoping to become a chef when he grows up so that he can cook anything he would like. He looks forward to making spaghetti and meatballs and being able to eat fruit, biscuits and dates as he pleases. He sees himself living in what he calls “the chefs house” which would be close by the restaurant “Jones one-stop shop” that he is planning to run. The name has no special meaning, he just thought it sounded nice. There he could cook for people and prepare drinks such as “mazoi”. He is hoping to have this restaurant in Germany, Canada or Sweden because he thinks those countries sound cool. If he doesn’t become a chef, another dream of his is to be a firefighter. His favorite color is green.
*All sponsorship dollar amounts constitute the amount required for one year of schooling. Each child requires $2,400 per year for school. If you would like to set it up so you can automatically give on a monthly basis, Click Here.
