The Kwathu Shop is located on the Kwathu premises. Items available at the Kwathu Shop such as bracelets, earrings, necklaces and drawing are handmade by the Kwathu children. A number of the african drums and professional paintings for sale are designed and handcrafted by various local artists within the surrounding community.
The Kwathu Shop is a creative initiative assisting Kwathu Ministries in our aim toward self-sustainability.
All proceeds go directly toward the children’s personal expenses in our efforts to teach the older children to manage money wisely as they grow into adulthood. Kwathu facilitates quarterly shopping “sprees” with the older children, teaching them how to differentiate between what they want and what they really need.
