Obet is an incredible 8 year old young man who is most definitely the jokester within the home. He loves to laugh and make those around him laugh. He feels best loved when people joke around with him, tease him and engage in youthful banter.
Obet was born on the 3rd of May 2006 and is currently in Grade 2. He is the younger brother of Francis and Austin who all come from the Kazungula area, a small border town in the Southern Province of Zambia, roughly 70kms from Livingstone.
He enjoys being at Kwathu, especially when he gets to play! He enjoys being outside playing soccer with all the boys. When it comes to school he prefers doing science homework because he does not think the questions are hard, but also says that the other subjects are good as well. Right now he thinks he wants to be a soldier when he grows up so that he can protect the world from bad people who kill innocent people. He also says that he would like to live within Zambia in the future as well, but maybe in another city.
Obet feel safe at Kwathu. He says he thinks that all the people surrounding him ensure that, and everything makes him happy. He loves nshima and vegetables!
