We had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas and New Years with close friends of ours, coming together as one big family. One of the best moments this season was sitting together on Christmas Eve, sharing one blessing that we had received from God that year. It’s such an awesome thing when you take time to reflect on where you’ve been and rejoice in making it through another year. Here are photos from our holiday celebrations.
We want to say thank you to each and every one of you who believes in us, supports us, prays for us, carries our burdens, and encourages us. You matter to us, and therefore to Kwathu and the children, more than you know. May this new year bring you more joy, life, and peace; and more strength to face the challenges. Most of all we thank and praise God for being the Ultimate Provider and for renewing our strength.
For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
His government and its peace
will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David
for all eternity.
The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
will make this happen!
