At Kwathu Ministries, we strive to empower our surrounding community in developing their entrepreneurial abilities, as well as professional skills, so that families in our surrounding area independently generate income to provide for themselves and their families. We do this through two programs designed specifically for the purposes stated above:
#1. The Kwathu Tailoring Program:
This program teaches and develops the tailoring skills of women in the surrounding communities, and allows them to work independently, selling their products to local shops.

#2. The Kwathu Shop
The Kwathu Shop is located on the Kwathu premises. Items available at the Kwathu Shop such as bracelets, earrings, necklaces and drawing are handmade by the Kwathu children. A number of the african drums and professional paintings for sale are designed and handcrafted by various local artists within the surrounding community.
