Introduction:
Lord, teach us to offer you a heart of thanksgiving and praise in all our daily experiences of life. Teach us to be joyful always, to pray continually and to give thanks in all our circumstances. We accept them as Your will for our lives (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). We long to bring pleasure to Your heart daily. Break the power of the enemy in our lives. Defeat Him through my sacrifice of praise. Change our outlook and attitude into one of joyful contentment with our present circumstances. Amen.
Social Activities
On Friday the 24th of November a Student Art Exhibition was hosted at the Arts Gallery here in Livingstone. Several of the Kwathu kid’s submitted works of art that were displayed. Linto and Rosaria’s art works were selected among the winners for their age group and they received prizes for their works. We are very proud of all the kids who submitted works of art. They have shown great talent and creativity. They all did very well and should be proud of themselves for having their works displayed in a gallery. Keep up the good work!
On Friday 24th November, Francis and Eustis where taken to their respective relatives to spend the holiday with them. This is part of the reintergration process and as well as to help them bond with their relatives.
Education:
Gertrude, Francis, Eustis and Willard have finally finished writing their final examinations. They all say that the examination questions were fairly set and they are all confident to pass their exams. It will be one of our proudest moments when they all qualify to the next grade. Our prayers are still with them as they await for their results.
Kwathu Home:
We give thanks to God for the total healing of Mama Sharon. She is completely healed and she has since returned to Kwathu Home. We love you Mama!!

Thank you to the Jordan family for the kind donation made to Kwathu Children’s Home. The different clothes sizes donated to us really go a long way dressing the children. May God richly bless your family

Community Development:
Kwathu Free Haven:
This month of November, Kwathu Free Haven had a change of management, from Miss Knaub to Kwathu Children’s Home. We thank God for all the time Miss Knaub spent managing the school since January. We wish her all the best in her endeavours.
The school comes to an end of its academic year on the 1st of December 2017 and we can proudly say we are impressed with the outcomes of the assessment of the children. Next year all the children will be allocated into specific grades according to their performance this year. We only wish them the best as they continue their academic journey.
FEEDING PROGRAM:
Thank God for the continued provision of meals for the feeding program. Thank you everyone for your support.
