BIRTHDAYS – Nelia celebrated her 13th birthday on June 24th and had a birthday party and received gifts. Dorothy celebrated her 16th birthday on June 4th and had a mini birthday party. In the same month, Linto turned 17 on June 25th and received a money gift voucher. All the birthday kids were grateful for turning a year older.
EXTRA ACTIVITY – The children enjoyed some great extra activities with a group of friends who came from Hillcrest Technical School. They played different types of games and had a great time! They played soccer, hide and seek, and many other exciting games. The hide and seek game helped the children and their friends practice counting numbers and can also be adjusted for all ages and abilities.
DONATIONS – This month, we were privileged to have received assorted items such as second-hand shoes, second-hand clothes, toilet paper, Vaseline, sanitary pads, sweets/candy, and many more items. We are thankful to Hillcrest Technical School for their donation.
KWATHU SCHOOL REPORT – The month of June had several activities, and one of the most important ones was Career Day. Pupils came dressed in different career attires to portray what they want to become in the future.
THE FARM – Farm work is going well and we have started harvesting tomatoes and okra. Additionally, we are also harvesting fish this month.
In June, we invited Dr. Mutale, a Vet Doctor, to vaccinate our goats at the farm.
