April has been an amazing month for Kwathu family. Schools are on holiday and all the children that were at boarding school are back home. It is a full house. The boys from boarding school are sharing boarding live experiences and how they are enjoying school.
We are so happy to see that they are fitting well in boarding school and that they are slowly becoming responsible in taking care of themselves independently. All our children wrote their end of term tests and are waiting for their results at the beginning of the second academic term.
Holiday Activities:
Our boys had some fun with uncle Situmbeko at the Victoria Falls on the 17th of April. They were so excited to have some guy time and they were privileged to cross the Zambian Border to the Vic Falls Bridge.
The girls where not left behind, they also had their day out on the 26th of April with Aunt Naomi the Social Worker.
These were exciting activities for the children as they are on break from all the academic pressure during the past term.
The toddlers will be having their day out to the kids play park on the 3rd of May with Aunt Naomi. They are pretty excited and can’t wait for the day.
Birthdays:
12th April: Jane celebrated her 6th Birthday, her fellow toddlers gave her an amazing dance performance.
13th April: Austin turned 15 and he was treated to a pack of French fries and Chicken.
18th April: Michael was the one closing up the month of birthdays. He had a splendid celebration and he was really excited to receive his presents.
EASTER CELEBRATION:
The children acted out the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We celebrated His resurrection in fellowship and through a meal. HE LIVES FOREVER!!
Donations:
We got a bag full of clothes from Ngosa who is our Facebook friend. She donated the clothes consisting of girls outfit
